How to choose a fragrance for scented candles

Journal·2 min read·Evodia

A candle's scent should suit the room it will burn in. Citrus such as orange and lime feels fresh, good for living rooms and kitchens. Florals such as lavender and ylang-ylang are soft and calming, good for bedrooms.

Woody & spicy scents such as cinnamon feel warm, good for cool days and holidays. Herbal scents such as lemongrass make a space feel airy and clean.

Evodia's Candle Fragrance is made to fill the room evenly and last as it burns, in woody, floral and vanilla lines. Use it alone, or add an essential oil for a natural accent.

Always pour a small test batch, burn it and let candles cure for a few days before judging the scent. Evodia can send samples so you can test before ordering in bulk.
